Customer Tracking Options

Wp Admin -> WooCommerce -> Shipment Tracking -> Customer Tracking Options
  1. Show shipment info in “My Account -> Orders”: The Shipment Tracking Plugin enables administrators or merchants to display shipment information in the “My Account -> Orders” section of the e-commerce website. This functionality allows customers to view essential shipment details directly on their account dashboard, enhancing the post-purchase experience.
    • Shipment Status: The current status of each shipment, such as “In Transit,” “Out for Delivery,” “Delivered,” etc., is displayed.
    • Estimated Date: The expected delivery date or estimated arrival time for each shipment is shown to provide customers with an idea of when they can expect their orders.
    • Courier Name: The name of the courier company responsible for delivering each shipment is mentioned, providing transparency to customers about the shipping carrier.
    • AWB Number: The unique Air Waybill (AWB) number assigned to each shipment is displayed, enabling customers to track their packages with this identifier.
    • Tracking Link: The plugin generates a clickable tracking link for each order, which takes customers directly to the dedicated shipment tracking page.
  2. Show shipment info in “My Account -> Orders -> Order Detail”: In addition to displaying shipment info in the “My Account -> Orders” section, the plugin extends this functionality to the individual order detail page.
  3. Select Tracking Page: The Shipment Tracking Plugin allows administrators to select a specific page on the website to serve as the Dedicated Shipment Tracking Page. This page is where customers can view detailed tracking information for their orders.
  4. Direct link for order tracking: The plugin generates a direct link for order tracking. This link can be shared with customers, enabling them to access the Dedicated Shipment Tracking Page directly without having to navigate through the website. Ex. :- https://wpdev.bitss.in/track/?order=#order_id#
  5. Validate last 4 digits of phone number associated with the order: To enhance security and protect customer privacy, the plugin may include a validation step. Customers may be required to input the last four digits of the phone number associated with their order when accessing the Dedicated Shipment Tracking Page. This ensures that only the rightful owner of the order can access sensitive tracking information.
